  • Bitter Gourd - 1 large
  • Corn Flour- 2 tbsp
  • Rice Flour- 2 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Salt- To Taste
  • Oil - For frying


  1. Cut 1 large bitter gourd into thin slices.
  2. In a bowl take rice flour, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  3. Mix well and add some water, make it a thick paste.
  4. Now add the sliced bitter gourd and mix them well with the masala.
  5. The bitter gourd is now ready to fry.
  6. Take some oil in a frying pan and let it heat.
  7. Now fry the bitter gourd on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  8. Bitter Gourd chips is now ready to serve.
    Tips and Variations:
  1. You can store the fried bitter gourd in air-tight container for few hours.
  2. Keep the marinated bitter gourd in the fridge and fry them when you need it.
  3. You can try this with other vegetables too.
  4. Add very little water while mixing the masala. It has to be very thick paste
