Baking is a stress buster and that too if you are familiar with the recipe then that’s the real fun. Now it’s very simple to make cookies at home. Your kids are now in the safer hands. Give them homemade cookies and let them enjoy their snack time. This is my all-time favourite cookie recipe and I often make this for my children.

We always have cookies in big batch and store them. We can’t stop with one cookies once we taste them. They are soft, moist and loaded with lots of chocolate chips. There is no match for homemade warm cookies with a glass of milk. In this video, I have described how to make delicious chocolate chip cookies at home. I have tried this so many times in my home and it is one of my kids favourite. Watch our video, do it in your home, serve with love, and surprise everyone in your family.

Chocolate Chip Cookies | Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • All Purpose Flour - 1 1/2 Cup
  • Salted Butter - 8 tbsp (Melted)
  • White Sugar - 1/2 Cup (Granulated or Raw Cane Sugar)
  • Light Brown Sugar - 1/4 Cup Packed
  • Chocolate Chips - 3/4 Cup (I have used milk chips and dark chocolate chips)
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Egg - 1 no
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp


  1. In a bowl take melted salted butter, white sugar, light brown sugar and mix well using a hand mixer.
  2. Beat the butter with sugars until it turns creamy.
  3. Now add vanilla essence, egg and beat on low speed for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  4. Then add baking soda, salt, all-purpose flour and combine the dry and wet ingredients using hand mixer.
  5. Now add chocolate chips and incorporate well.
  6. The cookie dough is now ready, take a baking tray layered with a baking sheet.
  7. Place cookie balls in the tray, if required add additional chocolate chips, the cookies are now ready to bake.
  8. Preheat your oven and bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes at 170 degree celsius.
  9. Cookies are now ready to serve, enjoy it with a glass of milk.
    Tips and Variations:
  1. Make sure to use right amount of flour.
  2. Melting butter is very important so don’t skip melting.
  3. Use room temperature egg.
  4. Preheat your oven before placing the dough.
  5. You can make any size. Sometimes I make bigger cookies and sometimes I go for the smaller ones.
  6. You can add any combinations of chocolate chips. I have added dark and milk chocolate chips.
  7. If you think your cookies are sticky while making balls, add some flour otherwise your cookies will be flat.
  8. Do not beat vanilla essence and egg for longer time.
  9. Have extra chips to add it on the top before baking. Ref our video.
