Okra is also known as Ladies Finger, Bhindi and in Tamil we call it as Vendakkai. We can make so many dishes out of it but Okra fry and Curry are very famous among people.

It’s more of Indian Vegetables but we can see few western people enjoy eating okra. Kids enjoy this as a snack or you can pack this for their lunch box. This is not only a tasty dish but also a nutritious meal for the entire family.

KurKuri Bhindi is sliced bhindi mixed with besan flour and other spice powder to get nice flavour and deep fried in oil to get crispy bhindi.

Very good recipe to enjoy with daal and rice. With the this recipe you can easy convince your kids to have daal as now a days normally kids avoid to have daal as a source of protien. I tried deep frying okra in Ghee but it smells awful and I dont feel like eating it then. Can olive oil completely replace the ghee for deep frying ?

This is good to serve as a snack. My kids love them. Never use ghee for deep fry. Use vegetable or sunflower oil. I usually use olive oil for less cooking like salads or stir fry.
